This is the page where you can request an additional chance for a mistake you made that led to a warning or disciplinary action, such as a block or ban.
Rules & Regulations[]
- Only self-nominations are allowed. If you think that another user was unfairly blocked or warned for not knowing how to edit a wiki, you may convince them to create a warn appeal themselves; you may not create one on behalf of another user.
- When appealing, users must be sure to point out why they made the mistake or why they were unjustifiably punished, and give a good reason why they would avoid making such a decision in the future.
- After sufficient time has passed to allow all users and staff who wish to express an opinion the chance to do so, a decision will be made based on community consensus as to whether or not the appeal will pass. Once a decision has been made, the discussion will be archived.
- When supporting or opposing an appealing user, give good reasons. Comments that describe in detail why the candidate should or should not be exonerated carry far more weight than simple support/oppose.
- Users cannot repeatedly appeal a warn or block that has been upheld previously. This is not a process that users can abuse to bypass warns so that they can frolic and do whatever their heart desires. If you know that you have done something that is not forgivable, such as spam or trolling, please do not request on this page and instead learn from your mistake.
How to make an appeal[]
To make a warn or block appeal, type your username in the page creation bar below and click "Add new request". A new page with an appeal form will then load, which you will fill out accordingly.
