Cherie Bellanger is a girl who had a crush on Michael Sampson and went to the Valentine's Day Dance with him. She only appears in The Third Wheel first appearing in Greg's Relationship Chart showing that she likes Michael Sampson.[1]
Days before the Valentine's Day Dance, Michael told his girlfriend Abigail Brown that he can't come to the school dance because of family obligations so that she wouldn't come to the dance, so he could cheat on her with Cherie without her knowing. He was surprised to see Abigail at the dance, and when she started crying, he abandoned Cherie and left the building.[2] It is believed they broke up after the dance or during Hard Luck, because Michael and Abigail rekindle their relationship.
