The Find a Friend Station (stylized as FIND A FRIEND Station) is a machine that formerly was the Tell-a-Teacher station in Hard Luck. The main purpose was for a lonely person to press the button on the machine and wait for a response to the buzzing sound and the blue light which comes from it. [1]
After Greg Heffley gets ditched by Rowley Jefferson, Greg has nothing to do at recess so he pressed the button in boredom. However, nobody came over so Mr. Nern came to Greg to play a game of Checkers. Fregley uses the station frequently and in some cases makes Greg feel guilty for him. [2]
