Christopher Brownfield is a boy who is considered as a prospective best friend by Greg Heffley after he falls out with Rowley Jefferson. He is featured in The Ugly Truth and last appeared in Class Clown as a cameo.

The Ugly Truth[]
Greg regards Christopher as one of his two best alternatives for a new friend because when he hung out with him during summer vacation he acted as an exceptional mosquito magnet. However, Greg's issue with Christopher is that he's more of a summertime friend than a school year friend.[1]
Later during the Lock-In, Christopher gets assigned into a team with Greg for the game "Guess Who?".[2] The team decides to takes a photo of Christopher's back but they ultimately have to scrap it due to one of the members from team four monitoring them.[3] When Greg's team tries to flee away from the chaperones, Christopher hides behind a soda machine on the second floor while the other team members get caught by the teachers using Justin Spitzer to locate them; Christopher presumably remains unfound until nightime.[4]
