Steel Scrub is a brand of steel wool pads seen in Cabin Fever. They are used for washing pans, plates & silverware.
After Manny Heffley smacks Greg Heffley's Student of The Week Award right in the middle of Frank Heffley's new car Greg attempts to clean it off with a sponge and soap. After twenty minutes of scrubbing it was proven ineffective so Greg tries to find an alternative to speed up the process. He search through the cabinets and decided to try Steel Scrub since they worked on pots and pans. The steel wool made the sticker come off real easily and got Greg carried away to clean up other unwanted trash on the car. But he realizes the steal wool also scraped off the paint after he rinsed the car off. The steel wool played a role in forcing Frank to trade the car for a used minivan.[1]
