Hello! We are happy to have implemented the new badges, but you must understand and adhere to these rules below!
1. Small edits and small blog comments are not recommended, but if it is inevitable to make a small edit, then it must be marked as minor, although it will still count towards a badge.
2. Blogs must have a point. Blogs that state absolutely nothing concerning the wiki or Diary of a Wimpy Kid, such as "How do I upload a picture?" are not allowed; these messages should be asked on talk pages or the forums, not on a blog.
3. You may not upload useless images or masses of personal images and add them to your user page to quickly get the picture-related badges. This also applies for edits. Try to minimize the amount of edits on a page by using the Preview button as much as possible; if there is a mistake, you may go back and fix it, but learn from it and try to avoid it next time.
4. Don't let the leaderboard get to you! It shows nothing on how important or unimportant a user is. If you have been making very constructive edits to pages, but you're still not on the top of the leaderboard, it's OK. This also goes for long-time editors who have been editing before the badges were implemented; the previous edits simply don't count. It also applies for editors who make many minor edits. If you're on the top of the leaderboard because you have made masses of minor edits, it doesn't matter; don't let it get to your head.
Thanks for understanding. If any rules are broken, a minor warning will be posted on your talk page; continuing to disobey the rules will result in the Warning template and may lead to a ban.
