Carter was one of the teenagers who ambushed Greg and Rowley on Halloween. He is the secondary antagonist of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film and is played by Samuel Patrick Chu. He is friends with Pete Hosey and Wade.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid[]
As they past by Greg and Rowley, Carter opens fire, trying to soak all their candy. But when Greg yelled out "We're calling the cops!" He and his friends chase after them and waits them out at Gramma's house.[1] After a long time of waiting, they toilet papered the house which Greg and Rowley see the next day.[2]
At the end, he forcibly pins Greg while his friends make Rowley eat the Cheese. He releases Greg after he claims he is allergic to dairy.[3]

Carter's role in the online book is less apparent as he only appears in the Halloween ambush which remains unchanged.[4]

- His name is known from the subtitles in The 2010 Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie
- In the 2010 film and book, he is the secondary antagonist. However, in the 2021 film, he was changed to the lead teenager in the trio for unknown reasons.
